SACHER TORTE

Ingredients:
• 150 g chocolate
• 150 g flour
• 6 eggs
• 100 g apricot jam
• 150 g butter
• 135 g cooking chocolate
• 150 g sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 30 g powdered sugar
Preparation:
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over steam. Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks. Put the egg whites into a large, deep bowl. Beat the egg whites stiff with a mixer and add powdered sugar.
Beat the butter and sugar with a mixer until the sugar melts and then add the egg yolks. Add the melted, cooled down chocolate to the bowl with the egg yolks. Stir with a ladle. Then we add the whipped egg whites to the bowl and stir until the ingredients blend well. Combine the baking powder with the flour and pour it into the mixing bowl.
Grease the springform pan with butter. Pour the batter into the pan and level the surface. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 180°C.
Melt the remaining 135 g of cooking chocolate over hot steam. Cool down the baked cake crust and spread the jam over the top. Spread the chocolate icing over the marmalade.

JAM FILLED TART

Ingredients:
• 110 g butter
• 100 g sugar
• 1 whole egg
• 1 egg yolk
• 190 g flour
• 70 g corn flour
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 450 g jam, according to taste
Preparation:
Beat the butter and sugar into a homogeneous mass. Add one whole egg and one egg yolk. In a separate container, mix all the dry ingredients, and then slowly add these to the wet ingredients. Break up a 300 gram piece of dough, wrap it into plastic foil and leave it in the fridge to cool. Shape the remaining dough into a roller, wrap that in a plastic foil too and leave to cool. After half an hour, take out the dough and press the bigger piece (300 grams) into a springform pan with your hands. Fill with jam. Cut the second piece of dough into stripes and then cover the jam filling with a lattice work of crust. Bake at 190°C until the top crust is golden brown, approximately 20-25 minutes.

GALETTES

Ingredients:
• 1 packet margarine
• 2 small cups oil
• 3 eggs
• 10 tablespoons sugar
• 1 sachet baking powder
• a pinch of baking soda
• 1 cup milk
• 2 sachets vanilla sugar
• a bit of grated lemon peel
• flour as required (about 800 g)
Preparation:
Beat the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy and then add the eggs. Add the remaining ingredients. Knead until you have obtained soft dough. Divide them into pellets of equal size. Turn on the electric galette maker. When hot, place the dough pellets into the electric galette maker and bake them. Serve topped with jam or slatko according to taste.
